What is Chugadug?

Welcome to the CHUGADUG website! Datatel has clients all over the nation and each region has a user’s group that gathers together to share ideas, best practices, and hear how other schools are using Datatel products. The colleges and universities in the southwest region have been meeting together annually for a number of years and in 2003 our user’s group began a new life as CHUGADUG serving C-alifornia, H-awaii, U-tah, G-uam, and A-rizona. The Datatel User’s Group (DUG) is a wonderful resource for Datatel clients providing an opportunity to share ideas, network with other members, and develop professional skills.

A User’s Group relies solely on the support of the users; each of you who use Datatel on a daily basis. The people you will see presenting at our regional conference are people just like you and me who have something of value to share with each other. From Enrollment Management to the technical aspects of rolling out R18, we are CHUGA-DUG! You are encouraged to get involved with CHUGADUG through volunteer activities such as presenting conference sessions, serving on the CHUGADUG executive board, or getting elected as a member of the DUG governing board.
